This optional assessment follows on from our Foundations of Primary Care Chaplaincy training course.
The Foundations course provides 12 hours of Continuing Professional Development for anyone working or interested in primary care chaplaincy, with a certificate of completion issued after the training. But for those who are interested in or require additional validation of their training, ACGP is offering an optional assessment element.
Assessment Requirements:
On completion of the training, you will be required to submit evidence of your practice in the form of a recorded 'role play' chaplaincy session. This needs to be 20 minutes in length and can be either a video or audio recording, with a written transcript.
Your recording and notes will be assessed by our trainers, and comprehensive feedback will be given. You will be issued with a certificate to confirm that you have completed this element.
This is not a formal qualification, but provides extra evidence of competence to practice for your CPD portfolio should you wish to have it.
The recording must be submitted within 6 weeks of attending the training course. The fee for assessment is £60.00
